This weekend I packed things up and explored the Sierra Nevada Mountains in hopes of scouting out locations for a fall trip. What was a scouting trip with a couple fellow photographers ended up being a photographic opportunity of some of the most beautiful landscape I've seen since Iceland.
While we spent the day and night hiking (only sleeping about 5 hours all weekend), we discovered some amazing landscapes at nearly over 11,000 feet in elevation.
Here are just a couple previews of some of the images I captured.
A return trip is definitely in the works now! -cg
